Grant + Lindsey came all the way “across the pond” for their Mountain View Grand wedding.
A true love story, they met here in the USA when Grant who is from London was here coaching a soccer camp. They met by the pool at a friend’s house and spoke to each other every day after that. Lindsey later continued her education in London where they continued to date. While back home for a visit, Lindsey visited the Mountain View Grand with friends and fell in love with it. She decided that was where she was going to be married.
Planning a wedding from London is a difficult task but Lindsey’s Mother jumped right in and pulled it all together. In Lindsey’s Dad’s words, it was her Mother’s “Super Bowl”.
We’ve said it before, but we have to repeat… The Mountain View Grand Resort is an awesome place to get married because they have it all. Great guest rooms, food, the beauty of the mountains, a golf course, spa, multiple ceremony sites and the Crystal Ballroom all couples together with their outstanding service make it one of the top wedding venues in New England.
Their rehearsal dinner on Friday was followed by some celebration around the fire pit. Saturday brought perfect weather for a ceremony and cocktail hour on the Grand Fountain Terrace, followed by their reception in the elegant Crystal Ballroom with live entertainment by The Hub.
