We spent a few hours in the White Mountains with Riley + Garrett, getting to know them and photographing their The Omni Mount Washington Resort engagement session…What a blast we had!
Their love story began when Superstorm Sandy hit Long Island. During the day, Riley’s grandma was being cared for by Garrett’s mother. And Riley lovingly tended her grandma at night and overnight. Garrett and Riley’s worlds collided during the storm. Sandy caused a power outage and for several trees to come down on Riley’s aunt’s property where grandma was living. Garrett and his brother arrived and came to the rescue and cleared the trees and rigged grandma’s chair with a battery. Riley’s knight in shining armor arrived, not on a white horse, but in fishing waders and with a chainsaw! They were immediately smitten with each other and have been inseparable ever since.
They are now planning a wedding at the Snowvillage Inn in Eaton, NH. We’re honored to work with such a special couple and we’re incredibly excited for what’s in store this October.
