Engagement Session Included :: Why It’s Important

by admin | Mar 15, 2016 | Engagement Photography, Wedding Photography, Wedding Planning | 0 comments

The Complimentary Engagement Session

We hear it a lot. Some people say they aren’t interested in an engagement session.  Others say they don’t want to do a session because they don’t photograph well, don’t have the time, already have pictures or a friend did them. Stop. Think about this. We feel you are missing out by not doing a session. We think it’s important to get to know each other. We get to know who you are as couple and how you interact with each other. You on the other hand, have a chance to discover what it’s like to work with us, see how awesome you look in the pictures and it gives you a feel for what to expect on your wedding day. Lots of couples that were opposed to the idea have expressed that they were glad they did it.

We came across an interesting article on The Offbeat Bride, Why you should absolutely do engagement photos if they’re included in your wedding package that gives insight on the importance of an doing one with your photographer. One thing that stood out was this: “smart photographers include them in a wedding package — and smart couples take them up on the offer”. We feel strongly about this and we’ve been offering complimentary engagement sessions since day one.
