For Josh and Jessica, their Woodstock Inn wedding just made perfect sense. Friends and family gathered in Cascade Park (a favorite spot) where they exchanged vows with with the sound of the rushing Pemigewasset River in the background. The Woodstock Inn, Cascade Park and the White Mountains have been significant in Josh + Jessica’s love story. Josh and his family have been vacationing there for over 20 years and more recently Josh + Jessica have been spending lots of time together there too.
And the date… May 30th is especially sentimental. On May 30, 1953, Josh’s grandfather proposed to his grandmother with this ring. When his grandmother passed, Josh’s mother, Diane wore the diamond as a pendant every day. When the time was right, Diane had the original ring reassembled and passed the heirloom to Josh, who waited until May 30, 2013 to propose to Jessica. Then on May 30, 2015 Josh + Jessica said “I Do” at Cascade Park.
Josh and Jessica, THANK YOU! This is a small thing to say for how much we appreciate the opportunity you gave us to capture all the love, celebration and sentiment of your day. Cheers to health, joy and making memories! Much Love and Appreciation. – Deb + Rick
