{"id":5324,"date":"2017-01-28T14:48:56","date_gmt":"2017-01-28T19:48:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/masterevent.com\/blog\/?p=5324"},"modified":"2022-03-14T14:25:40","modified_gmt":"2022-03-14T18:25:40","slug":"great-island-common-engagement-session-duy-emily","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/masterevent.com\/blog\/great-island-common-engagement-session-duy-emily\/","title":{"rendered":"Great Island Common Engagement Session :: Duy + Emily"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With as many Great Island Common engagement sessions as we&#8217;ve done we always see new opportunities for photos and it was no different with Duy + Emily&#8217;s.<\/p>\n<h2>A music teacher and a Catholic Pre-School Teacher.<\/h2>\n<p>They met through Duy\u2019s brother in the summer of 2008. Duy was immediately taken by Emiy\u2019s beauty and gentle, caring nature. Emily was drawn to his kindness. Duy asked Emily on a date and they visited Emiy\u2019s favorite place on the New England coast, Rye Beach. Their unforgettable date led to several unforgettable years together.<\/p>\n<p>In between many more dates, they fell in love. Duy realized his life wouldn\u2019t ever be the same without Emily and started planning the most romantic and surprise proposal. The first step involved a series of road trips. About two weeks before he took Emily to all their favorite date destinations. One of the spots included the New Hampshire mountain where they got lost hiking. But on this visit, they made it to the summit. The second step was to compose a choral love song, \u201cHow Do I Love Thee\u201d and then organize a group of ten singers to perform the song. On a beautiful summer day, at the exact location where they had their first date, Duy\u2019s surprise unfolded. And it was no surprise when Emily said yes!!! to Duy\u2019s marriage proposal in front the sparkling blue Atlantic Ocean.<\/p>\n<p>Working with Duy and Emily was extra awesome because Laurie Mantegari of <a href=\"http:\/\/everydaydetails.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Everyday Details<\/a> was their wedding planner and coordinator.
