We spent a cold winter afternoon with Jay + Nicole at the Tannery Hill Bridge in Gilford, NH, the location they chose for their engagement session. There were laughs, hugs, kisses and maybe a little champagne involved... And more laughs... And we photographed it all along with their love for each other.
The Tannery Hill Covered Bridge is a single span footbridge (foot traffic only) that is a lattice wooden structure spanning the Gunstock Brook just north of the village of Gilford, NH. It was built in 1995 to replace the original structure which was removed about 50 years prior. It is referred to as New Hampshire #68 on the New Hampshire covered bridge maps. The technical name of the bridge is the Tannery Hill Gilford Bridge and it actually has a purpose... It links the town center with town hall.
