It’s always a pleasure to capture a fall engagement session for a lovely, charming couple like Brittany and Kevin. The multi-colored hues of the stunning fall leaves were a perfect backdrop for the shoot at Wagon Hill Farm in Durham, New Hampshire.
A Strong Bond from the Start
Brittany and Kevin first met through mutual friends and immediately hit it off, taking in a Lynyrd Skynyrd concert together with family members for their first date. When the show was over, they didn’t want the night to end, so they went to Hookslide Kelly’s with Brittany’s parents. The couple loved the date so much that they saw Lynyrd Skynyrd again 18 months later and met the band!
While Brittany and Kevin hit it off immediately, they spent five years enjoying all that dating had to offer before getting engaged. In early February 2018, Kevin and Brittany took a trip to visit the Rockport and Gloucester area and take in some of the sights and traditions of her childhood. While Brittany thought the only plans for the day were grabbing a delicious strudel and heading to a family Super Bowl party, Kevin ended up proposing while his mother snapped pictures from the bushes. Before the party, both families gathered for a champagne toast to celebrate the couple.
A Gorgeous Fall Engagement Session
From the moment we met Brittany and Kevin, we knew that their excitement and love of each other would only be enhanced by the beautiful fall leaves of Wagon Hill Farm. It is a privilege to get to work with couples before “the big day,” and this romantic session against a rustic backdrop was no different.
