It’s such a special honor to be involved in the celebration of every couple we work with.  Emalyn and Joe’s lovely seacoast wedding was beautiful from start to finish and we’re so happy to have been a part of it.  The couple couldn’t imagine anything better than having all of their favorite people together in one place to celebrate.

The Fort McClary Surprise

One day, Emalyn and Joe were spending a beautiful day exploring Fort McClary on the east coast of Maine.  A random man approached the couple and asked to take a picture of them; he was a photographer and said he would email them the photo afterwards.  Emalyn thought this was a bit odd, but it ended up being one of their favorite photos together!

A year later, the couple found themselves in a nearby area, and Joe suggested that they pay a visit to Fort McClary once again.  Emalyn was supposed to be having brunch with some of her college friends, but one by one they all had plans come up and couldn’t make it.  They had a family wedding to go to in Philadelphia the next day, and her parents and grandmother were supposed to be on their way there, so it was just the two of them.  She wanted to explore somewhere new, but Joe had convinced her on Fort McClary and joked, “What if the photographer is there again?”

Well… he was! Emalyn thought this was really strange, but Joe went up and asked him if he could re-create the photo from a year ago.  There they were, in the same spot, with the same photographer, when suddenly, Joe got down on one knee and proposed.  After hearing the gleeful “Yes!” Joe took her into a local brewery where all of her friends and family who were “out of town” were there to surprise her.

A Beautiful Seacoast Wedding

Emalyn and Joe enjoyed a heartwarming service at St. Andrew’s-by-the-Sea while surrounded by loving family and friends.  After an amusing trolley ride, loved ones gathered at the Seacoast Science Center to celebrate, eat delicious food, and dance to the spirited melodies of The Connection Band.

Thank you for including us in your seacoast wedding, Emalyn and Joe!

Many thanks to the phenomenal team who made this wedding session so perfect…
