Something we’ve learned over the years is that every love story is truly unique. Alex and Amanda have a very beautiful story and selected an equally gorgeous venue, during peak fall foliage to share the best day of their lives with friends and family. We are very honored to have been part of their special day!
Mutual Friends and Mutual Passions
Alex and Amanda initially met in the Summer of 2010. The couple met through mutual friends and ended up dating until they eventually had to part ways to attend different colleges. Years later, they discovered a mutual interest in rigorous hiking through Facebook. Alex asked Amanda if she’d like to reconnect over a hike, and the couple did just that. In August 2016, Alex, Amanda and Laila (Amanda’s lovely dog) spent all day hiking to the summit of Mt. Jefferson. Everyone had a blast and Laila would be the flower girl at their wedding just a few years later!
A Lovely Peak Fall Foliage Backdrop
One of the greatest pleasures that Alex and Amanda share is spending time outdoors together. This made the lovely Waterville Valley Resort the perfect setting for their wedding. The couple were able to profess their love for each other surrounded by family, friends and gorgeous peak fall foliage. To add to the excitement of the day, their two dogs, Laila and Tucker, participated in the wedding as flower girl and ring bearer! All in attendance took great pleasure in witnessing the strong love that the couple shares as they solidified their forever together.
